Our Guest house backs onto a private lough and has good stocks of Bream, Hybrids, Roach, Eels and Perch. There are also some resident pike.

Fishing

Rossole Guest house is the place to stay if you want a fishing break and is an Ideal base for exploring Lough Erne you have an excellent private car park and there is safe storage for boats etc.

There is a good head of coarse fish in Rossole Lough the guest house backs onto it so you don't have far to go to wet a line and all coarse species in Ireland are to be found. The roach and bream fishing is very good at times and if you are over for a few days prebaiting will prove to be a very good move.

There are some resident pike with some well over 20lbs to be had from the lough and the perch fishing is very good and can be great fun on the spinner with huge shoals following in your bait.

Nora has a 19ft fishing boat and it is available free of charge to residents on a first come first served basis. There are a set of oars and if you have an electric engine it would be a good choice especially if you want to troll for pike.

The Autumn and spring months are best and 100lb bags of bream come out if you are prepaired to do some prebaiting these can be very good fun from the boat on the pole or waggler and you will also get a good stamp of roach with fish up to 2lbs not uncommon.

The pike in this lough respond well to lure fishing and also a slow trolled roach will pick up the bigger fish again spring and summer are the best times.
